Backyard ideas as usual. Everything that I show in this video will be listed down below. If you have any ideas of your own, then definitely leave them in the comment section. So I and everyone else can see your ideas as well, so the entryway to our backyard. We have these concrete squares, they have different styles at the hardware store. We have our edible garden right here. We just had a frieze, so it doesn't look so pretty right. Now but our pineapple rosemary, green onion and jalapenos did make it. We also have this kumquat tree, which has been really easy to maintain, and then back here we took all of the grass out and we just lead lime stone.
This was only 20 dollars for one ton at the rock distributor, so you can just look up any Rock distributor in your area and they're very inexpensive. So I really like that, because it's easy to maintain, we don't have to get our grass cut. We just leaf blow right over the rocks in the entryway. We have these curtains, which are just canvas drop cloths right from Lowe's. I wanted to get some new ones for the store for the video and I accidentally got the wrong sizes you can see. They do have longer ones that you can get. That will go all the way down to the floor.
These drop cloths are very inexpensive. So you can just throw them away and get new ones when they get old and dirty. It rains a lot here, so they do ends up getting pretty moldy. So, instead of putting them in my washer, I just buy new ones and change them out. We have these little hooks that we got right off of Amazon that hang on this rod and then you just clip the curtain right to it, and I just have it hanging on the side by a rope that I got right at Lowe's on the top. We have little lights to light up this overhang area and the materials that Richard used for this overhang will be listed down below in case you were interested in making this. It was very inexpensive to make we had no type of overhang on this area at all.
They have these plates in clear or tinted, and so these are the tinted one. We dug holes for each of these rods which are holding up this overhangs. So basically, we dug a hole put cement stuck this in there once it dried he added the ones on the top and then just put this little type bracket. I really don't know the correct terms of this stuff. You screwed it right in to the bricks here and then he added these rods in between. As you can see, he has two of the metal things here and then the rods just in between they are a size too small. That why right now we have them cut a diagonal, so we do need to get some new ones that fit. We have this table right on the side.
Here we got that right at Target on super sale. When you go after summertime, they have all of their outdoor stuff on sale. So I do recommend getting your stuff, then, because it's a lot cheaper. I like this table because I do a lot of on here, so it does get stained. All I can do is pop these little tiles out and I would be able to go ahead and just paint the frame of the table and then just put some new tile in and it would look like a brand new table. We have some strawberries here, they're not in season right now, so they're not growing, but this has been really easy.
