We're back here today at my design. I spend a lot of time designing it and I collaborate with a lot of wonderful artists to come up the pieces that we make. This particular chandelier that I'm designing for a client has to be eight feet long and it has to be about four feet high and it's going to be very heavy. It's gonna be very hard to hang and I'm doing it for a very important client. So it has to be perfect and we've got about five pages going of my icicle chandelier and I'm looking at these and I'm deciding, which is better for space. I mean how we're gonna manufacture these and how it's gonna all happen and what the weight is and what materials we're gonna use.

So that's what I'm looking at right now, I'm looking at my chicken scratches coming to life and actually coming into something that can be made into a proper design. These are not the first samples that I got the first samples that I got were a little different than this and then to be honest with you a little phallic. So it wasn't the proper thing to put a chandelier, but today I'm excited because these are the final pieces that we've gotten.

This is what I do right before. I make a large piece of lighting as I make a small prototype, and this is actually one of the first pieces that are going to be cantilevered over the second piece. It doesn't look like much today, but it's gonna be an amazing 8-foot chandelier. The second prototype is more perfected. The hand-blown glass icicles are exactly the way that I want them, they're exactly the measurements that I sketched out and attending them to be. My favorite lighting comes from below, and I like to shine through the hand-blown glass.

That's the most beautiful jewel-tone lighting, it's a soft lighting. It's a yellow lighting. I don't use any wattage about 15 watts. The wattage of the light bulbs is really important in lighting as well, and you need to pay attention to that because you can ruin an amazing chandelier or a great piece of lighting or a new lamp that you're bringing home just with the wrong light bulb.
