An outdoor chaise lounge, I mean I don't know what's wrong with this one, but let's get started there. Welcome to our workshop first thing we're going to need to do is to remove the old sling. So what we'll start out with first is getting rid of all these end caps, actually removing them in one piece so that we could save them and use them later. So what we want to do is just using the flat head screwdrivers slip that into the rail there right in between that and the cap, and then just pry out, you know be a little careful, so you don't end up break-in these.
If you do, we do have replacements for a lot of different kinds as well too. Now that we've taken all those end caps out of the the corners and then I did take it out of the bottom of the rail this one too, because that's where I'm going to slide the fabric up into it in a minute. If you have a drill bit that size, you can put that next to it and kind of identify what the the width of the spline is. We offer two different sizes 7/32 and quarter inch, and you can pick that out when you're giving the measurements for your slings they're online presto.
Our slings are in now, let's get them installed, so let's put our back back onto the bench there and work on it because we already have the clamps on it. So I've just left those on. If you need to squeeze them a little tighter, all right and then we're going to feed that spline into each sides, or so we've just got to kind of twist it and get it started into that edge and then on the other side. The same thing we're just going to get started in there and then we should be able to pull this up into the rail. Sometimes you get the little stiff, but we're just it's good time on this one get that pulled up again, don't over tighten.
You know those clamps if you can help if they're, just so that they don't make the frame Bend and stay bent alright, so we've got that straightened out, make sure that you're good and straight before you release those clamps. You want to make sure that you've got your your fabric, all the way to the edge of the rails, so that it looks nice when it's done and then we're going to release the clamps a nice link type sling again here. This will tighten up even a little more once we put these hardware's back on to the base frame.
