Tiffany style lamp. It is made in the classic, copper, foil method. The way the individual glass pieces are put together. The copper foil method was a system that was devised by Louis comfort, Tiffany, who pioneered that method where they take each individual piece of glass.
They wrap it in copper and then put the pieces together on a form and fill where the two pieces of copper from the two pieces glass come together, and that makes for a very strong construction. It doesn't rattle, and eventually, you get a very nice patina on the letting that connects the glass. The glass is a hand, poured an opalescent glass and with classic arts and crafts fan detail in the glass that also matches up with the detail on the hand finished metal base.
It has one bulb with a maximum wattage of 60 watts and the size on this lamp is 10 x, 10 x, 18 inches tall. This would be a lovely compliment to any of our mission, end tables or on the top of a mission desk.
